If you are a practising or aspiring Senior Manager or Director, who wants to understand the impact of mental health and wellbeing on organisational performance, whilst improving your leadership and strategic management skills and developing your ability to apply them at a strategic level within your organisation, then this course is for you. During the course you will critically assess the complexities of managing wellbeing and appraise contemporary approaches to the creation of healthy work systems. By the end of the course you will be able to propose recommendations to create and sustain a positive culture of mental health and wellbeing within your own organisation.

You must have gained at least a Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership or equivalent qualification (e.g. HND/FdA/BA/BSc in Management) or a CIPD Level 5 Qualification in Human Resource Management/ Organisational Development or equivalent qualification (e.g. HND/Fda/BA/BSC in HRM) HOWEVER, we are able to consider your level of managerial experience in lieu of formal qualifications.

It is essential that applicants have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive business activities in a senior management and leadership role, this will be established via an interview.

You will study one unit:-
