Enhance Your Skills

Studying for a professional qualification will help you discover a new career path, allow you to progress in your current career, enhance your CV or get that promotion you’ve always wanted.

We’re offering a FREE Level 2 ILM Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills, awarded by City and Guilds. To be eligible for this part-time course you will be aged 19 and over and in employment. Learners are required to attend one day or evening class a week, for eight weeks.

Ideally you will live in Sandwell or the West Birmingham postal code area. However, you will still be eligible for funding if you live in a West Midlands Combined Authority postal code.

ILM courses are designed to help individuals raise their potential. During the course you will cover the following units:

• Setting team objectives in the workplace
• Developing the work team
• Planning and monitoring work
• Workplace communication
• Understanding change in the workplace
• Solving problems and making decisions
• Meeting customers’ needs
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment

Evening classes will take place online 4pm-7pm.
