According to the Construction Industry Training Board, construction is growing across the country and 224,000 jobs are expected to be created over the next five years.
That means an additional 2,320 construction jobs in the West Midlands every year for the next five years.
House building will be an important part of this growth, with private housing project starts predicted to rise by 12% in 2015.
Construction workers will also have the opportunity to work on exciting developments including the £500m regeneration of Birmingham City Centre and the Coventry and Warwickshire University housing schemes.
