Sandwell College would like to welcome employers to our high profile Construction Business Breakfast.
The event invites employers to support the West Midlands Combined Authority Construction Gateway project, which is dedicated to recruiting currently unemployed people into the sector at no cost to businesses.
Guest speakers:
– Dara McCarthy of RMF Construction Services will share his direct experience of the project
– Corin Godsmark from Balfour Beatty will talk about the combined efforts of prime contractors to recruit local unemployed people into meaningful sustainable employment, particularly with the Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust and the Sandwell Aquatic Centre for the Commonwealth Games in 2022
– Assistant Police & Crime Commissioner Ashley Bertie will be promoting the employment of ex-offenders in the Construction industry
