We are running a FREE training workshop for schools on Managing Challenging Behaviour at our Central Campus.
The event will be held on Tuesday 20 September, 9.30am until 2.45pm, and lunch will be provided for you.
Jane Perkins, our in house instructor trained by Pivotal Education, will deliver the workshop. Jane has worked in FE, teaching 14-19 year olds in Maths and English, for 15 years. Over the last 7 years she has also worked extensively in Teacher Education and Learning Support Education, and delivers Staff Development in a wide range of contexts. She still teaches challenging groups of young people every week.
During the day’s conference, you will have the opportunity to consider a wide range of factors that impact on behaviour, including your own approach and beliefs, as well as some psychological concepts when it comes to managing it. We will go on to look at a number of practical approaches that can be used to help improve the behaviour of our learners.
