Bigger and better than ever, Sandwell College is proud to present its annual Festival of Arts, debuting student showcases of creative work at multiple venues this month.
Musical Theatre students will kick off the first event on the arts programme, with a performance on Wednesday 24 May in the college’s 170-seat theatre.
The following four weeks will then see an array of live entertainment and exhibitions at locations across Birmingham and the Black Country including:
Head of Creative Industries Michelle King said: “My personal thanks go to all of the staff within the Visual Arts and Performing Arts, Music and Media curriculum teams, who have shared their dedication and passion with our students over the last year.
“Thanks also to our technical and wider support teams across Sandwell College, who have contributed to co-ordinating the Festival. Further thanks go to the key industry partners we have worked with across the year, including The Rep Theatre, ME Dance, CCSkills, Sandwell Council, Multistory, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, CreateBritain, Open Lens Media, Caudwell Children, B:Music, Enfinium Kelvin, and many more, for providing exciting industry-set briefs, work experience opportunities, and valuable expert guidance and feedback.
