Steve will share his backstage knowledge about what goes on in putting together a major outdoor event such as Glastonbury, Latitude or Leeds Festival. Steve will give an insight into what roles are involved and give his view on what skills gaps and challenges currently face the industry.
As a tour and production manager and a tour accountant, Steve Cheney has over 30 years of experience on the road. Steve spent many years as the production contact for various production companies such as Asgard, 3A Entertainments and Kilimanjaro. He has also done stage management at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds Festival, and is regularly seen giving his talks and tours as part of our National Skills Academy member industry insights programme in arenas and events around the UK.
