You should have a Level 1 Plumbing qualification or equivalent. You will also be asked to attend an initial interview and be assessed on your level of English and Maths.
You will cover many areas within plumbing and domestic heating, such as hot and cold water supplies, sanitation and understanding health and safety within Building Services Engineering. You will learn how to deal with leaky pipes, water systems and drainage.
We offer a residential week and various activity days, in addition to College-wide trips, sports and visits.
Candidates will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds e-assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments.
Successful students commonly go on to find work in the plumbing industry. Those who wish to gain advanced plumbing knowledge and skills can progress to the Level 3 Diploma.
