
If you already have some team management/leadership experience or if you plan to become a team manager/ leader in the future, then a CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership course may be ideal for you. The course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to manage and lead effectively, enabling you to develop (or sharpen) your professional edge and enhance your personal effectiveness.
You must have gained a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications.
However, if you are a mature applicant (over 21 years) your work experience (paid and/or unpaid) may be taken into account in lieu of formal qualifications.
You will study seven units:-
· Principles of Management and Leadership
· Managing a Team to Achieve Results
· Managing Budgets and Resources
· Managing Data and Information
· Managing Daily Activities to Achieve Results
· Contributing to the Delivery of a Project
· Managing own Personal and Professional Development
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
The total fee for this course (including registration and certification) is £2,100.
HOWEVER, if you live within ‘West Midlands Combined Authority’ region, you may be eligible to a FREE place on this course subject to certain terms and conditions.

Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,000-2,500 words.
The course is delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes taking place on Mondays 6 – 9 pm, using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Online, on-demand learning materials are available 24/7 and are accessible by both PCs and mobile devices.
Progression opportunities include moving on to CMI qualifications at the next level, for example the CMI Level 5 Certificate/Diploma in; Management and Leadership.
