The ability to coach and mentor others is fast becoming a sought after workplace skill; as employers are increasingly using workplace coaches and mentors to develop the skills, knowledge and performance of their employees. Often Line Managers and Human Resource Management (HRM) staff within organisations are responsible for delivering coaching and mentoring interventions, so these courses are ideal if you already have some line management or HRM experience or if you plan to become a manager or work in HRM in the future.
You must have gained a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications. Ideally, you will also have a CMI Level 3 Diploma or similar qualifications at level 3.
However, if you are a mature applicant (over 21 years) your work experience (paid and/or unpaid) may be taken into account in lieu of formal qualifications.
You will study seven units:-
Whilst studying for this qualification, you will be eligible for FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
The course is delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes on either Tuesdays 6-9PM or Thursdays 6 – 9pm, using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Online, on-demand learning materials are available 24/7 and are accessible by both PCs and mobile devices.
Start Date: 17th January 2023 or 19th January 2023
End Date: 12th December 2023 or 14th December 2023
Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,500-3,000 words
On successful completion of this course, you can progress on to the CMI Level 7 Certificate or Diploma in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring.
