
The Level 2 Diploma in Accident Repair MET Principles is for anyone wanting a career in the Automotive Accident Repair industry. This practical and theory based qualification demonstrates candidates’ skills on the job and knowledge demonstrating that they meet national standards for automotive workers.
You’ll have previously completed a Level 1 Motor Vehicle qualification. You’ll be able to demonstrate a professional attitude and have excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time course of about 16 hours per week. You'll have the best opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities, including removing and refitting trim, suspension, electrical components and mechanical components to motor vehicles. At the end of the programme you will achieve a Vocationally Related Qualification in MET at Level 2. During the course you'll also be expected to complete one week's work experience at a workshop of your choice.
Assessment is practical, written and online.
After completing this qualification, you'll have a qualification that shows employers and customers you have the required skills to carry out refitting of body, mechanical and electrical components as a result of accidents and you'll be able to progress into employment or you may progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Accident Repair MET Competency.
