Construction students from Sandwell College have been working on the transformation of a community room for London Midland.
Ten building maintenance operations students have installed floor protection and removed the plaster in the room at Rolfe Street station, and yesterday Level 2 and 3 site carpenters started building the studwork and boarding the walls.
Next week students will return to plaster the walls and fit the skirting and shelf to the top of the studwork, with painting and decorating students completing the revamp.
