In the past two years, the Engineering department at Sandwell College has had the pleasure of seeing many of its Level 3 students gain places on engineering courses at university.

A Sandwell College ESOL student recently progressed through Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering courses and is currently studying Aerospace at Coventry.
A Sandwell College student is currently near the end of his 2nd year of BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at Birmingham University. His grade performance is excellent and he regularly achieves top grades in his year group.
A Level 3 student recently obtained employment at a multinational design and engineering consultancy based which is renowned for working on some of the world’s most iconic buildings and structures. He came into college to talk to current Level 3 subjects and show some of the designs he is working on.
The Engineering team is currently negotiating a collaborative agreement with a local company. This will result in the adoption of industry-leading advanced manufacturing techniques and provide substantial work experience for promising students.
