Six reasons to study with CU Coventry at Sandwell College

All of CU’s courses are awarded by Coventry University, meaning when you graduate, you will receive a Coventry University degree. Tutors maintain high levels of class contact and offer support to help ensure you are learning throughout your time with us.

Coventry University has an excellent reputation for providing degrees that are relevant to the world of work. We want every single student to gain the relevant skills and knowledge that will help them secure employment in their chosen profession.

No End of Year Examinations

We’ve moved away from end of year exams to more modern assessment techniques which take place during each 6-week module. You only study one module at a time, allowing you to give each assignment your full attention.

Our tariff entry requirements are not as high as many other institutions. We know that many of our students have had other priorities in their lives but still have the ability and determination to succeed. Entry requirements are:

64 UCAS tariff points. All courses require 5 GCSEs at A-C including Maths and English.

80 UCAS tariff points. All courses require 5 GCSEs at A-C including Maths and English.

BA (Hons) Degree
104 UCAS tariff points. All courses require 5 GCSEs at A-C including Maths and English.

Professionally Accredited Courses*

Many of these degrees include content from professionally accredited courses. This means while you’re studying for your degree, you could also be working towards a professional qualification which may help to give you an edge in the graduate market.

*Limited to specific degree courses. See course descriptions for full details.

In order to make higher education accessible to everyone, we keep our tuition fees lower than many comparable institutions. Fees for UK/EU nationals in 2017 -18 are £6,009 or £7,102 depending on the course.
