Dental Nursing
When the college moves to its brand new campus in West Bromwich, trainee dental nurses on the advanced apprenticeship will be practising in a ‘real’ surgery, complete with dentist’s chair!
This training will go hand-in-hand with your work placement, where you’ll be providing ‘chair-side support’ for the dental team, which includes dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and technicians. The role of a dental nurse is regulated by the General Dental Council (GDC), and you will be eligible to register once you’ve successfully completed the apprenticeship programme.
