New Year New Campus New Logo

With the new Central Campus now officially handed over to Sandwell College, there's no better time than the start of the new year to launch a new logo that celebrates this landmark building and all that it offers to our students.

The £77 million Central Campus stands as a symbol of all that will change for the good in the local region – with us at its heart. Our new college and sixth form will provide top quality education and training across the West Midlands region, so it makes sense for our logo to use the name Central Campus as well as Sandwell College.

You will see the shape of the new logo reflects the new rooflines, and has an upward curve to reflect our rising aspirations. The colours have been chosen to mirror the metallic elements of the building.

The new sixth form, which occupies a complete and separate floor of the campus will be known as Central Sixth, with its own individual identity.

We hope that everyone likes the new logo as much as the new building, which is already a popular feature of the West Bromwich skyline, and has affectionately been dubbed the 'Big Dipper' by locals.
