Learners with disabilities

We believe very strongly that life should be a level playing field, and the College has an excellent reputation for ensuring that everyone gets an equal opportunity to succeed. Our Study Link team is able to give individual, practical support to anyone who feels that they have additional needs, disabilities or other factors that may affect their learning or their enjoyment of College.

We offer one-to-one support sessions, specialist assessments, classroom support, literacy and numeracy programmes, and assistive computer software for learners who need help with their course work, or have specific learning, physical and/or mental health difficulties. Study Link includes:

Additional Needs

What Ofsted said about our special needs provision:
• Good pastoral support and effective communication with outside agencies ensures learners with specific needs receive the best possible care.
• Links with external agencies are good and enable the college to provide effective specialist support when it is needed.
