Who is this course for?
This 10-week course is designed for 16-24 year olds, with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETs).
Formal Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for the Moving On programme, but all applicants are required to attend an interview and undertake an initial assessment of their English, Maths and ICT to assess their levels of Functional Skills.
What does the course involve?
You will have the opportunity to develop and improve Functional Skills in Literacy, Maths and ICT through nationally recognised qualifications from Entry Level to Level 1. Foundation learning units of Employability Skills and Personal Social Development are also offered. All learners are given group tutorial sessions and 1-1 sessions with a personal tutor. You can gain many skills that will benefit you throughout your future.

How will I be assessed?
A range of assessments including practical/written/computerised/portfolios.
Where can I go next?
After successfully completing this course, students can progress to mainstream college courses, vocational courses, work based training or employment.
