- Year 1 introduces a variety of themes including the interaction of organisations and the business environment they face, marketing intelligence, and e-business and technology. It looks at the contributions of entrepreneurs as the creators and generators of various forms of capital in modern society, and shows you how to handle numeric concepts essential for business. You will also gain an appreciation of key communication skills for business management.
- Your second year addresses human resources issues in business, as well as the basic financial techniques used for making decisions in relation to costing and budgeting, pricing and investments. It investigates business decision-making and marketing, and gives you a basic knowledge of project management tools and techniques that may be used in any industry. You will also pick up the skills necessary for research-based learning within your programmes of study.
