The site complies to a minimum of the checkpoints of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The site also complies to a minimum of the priority level 1, 2 and 3 checkpoints dictated by the Watchfires' WebXact.

The HTML code has been validated to XHTML 1.0 standard using the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) MarkUp Validation Service.

The site also makes extensive use of stylesheets and the CSS code has been validated using the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) CSS Validation Service.

Users should note that the accessibility features are optimised for users of Internet Explorer versions higher than 5, Netscape versions higher than 4, and other browsers complying to the W3C standards.

Further improvements to the implementation of standards on this site are planned to follow and will shortly include support for text resizing and a text only version of the website.

A Navigation side menu is provided across all of the site This side menu provides the following consistent navigation across the site

A breadcrumb trail has been provided across the site to show the section and page the user is on within the site.

Other navigational aids include a search facility available near the beginning of every page, and supplementary in-page links on long pages with a large amount of content
